Tara’s Furry Friends

Furry friends have always been a big part of my life, and these days, they’re my constant sidekicks, filling the space that opened up when my kids grew up and started their own adventures.

Honestly, I can’t think of a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet by my side. From growing up as a little girl in Indiana, to married life in Illinois, and now as a single, mountain-loving woman in West Virginia, pets have always been with me.

Now, my fur-babies join me on all kinds of adventures! Sometimes, we hit the road for a vacation, other times, it’s a quick trip to Dairy Queen for a cool treat. We love to wander the mountains on foot or by four-wheeler, always on the lookout for new trails or hidden gems. And yes, we even make the occasional stop at the pet store, where my furry crew picks out their latest snack obsession.

Miss Dalilah, one of my pets, is the true adventurer of the bunch. She’s my trusty four-wheeler companion, always riding right up front, taking in the sights, smells, and fresh mountain air. She’s quite the local celebrity too! People wave, smile, and even shake their heads as we roll by on one of our many outings.

As for my human family, there are many, spread across West Virginia and beyond. Don’t worry, I’ll share more about them someday!
