Tara Baisden Author Chicago

Tara Baisden is the author of more than 30 sweet, wholesome romance novels that celebrate love, faith, second chances, and the enduring strength of community. Known for crafting emotionally rich, character-driven stories with heartfelt endings, Tara writes across two closely connected subgenres: Contemporary Christian Romance and Clean and Wholesome Contemporary Romance.

Her work includes three beloved series: The Laurel Ridge Series and The Riverbend Valley Series, which offer inspirational, faith-anchored love stories grounded in spiritual themes and personal growth; and The Mistletoe Falls Series, a heartwarming, clean, wholesome small-town holiday romance collection that captures the charm and emotional warmth readers have come to expect from her books.

Drawing inspiration from the quiet beauty of the rural Appalachian region where she resides, Tara’s novels are filled with strong family ties, cozy communities, and characters who feel both authentic and emotionally layered. Her stories appeal to readers looking for clean, uplifting romance where love is tender and happy endings are always assured.

Before becoming a full-time fiction author, Tara was a nationally published quilt designer with over 175 patterns to her name. She authored six quilting books and was featured multiple times in American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, Quilts & More Magazine, and Primitive Quilts & Projects Magazine.

When she’s not at her desk with a cup of coffee and a dog curled at her feet, Tara enjoys quilting, gardening, browsing antique shops, and spending time on her front porch with family and friends. Her beloved dogs, Delilah and Daisy, and her cats, Queen Hazel and Kitty, are never far from her side.

If you enjoy stories that feel like a warm hug, where small towns shine, and love always finds its way home, Tara Baisden’s books are sure to become favorites on your shelf.
